Clan Origins
Home City: The City of Draum in Draumrvollr
A disagreement between Vidür and Eldur saw the Bjarkan-Kind leave Ljosa and found their own tree-city in Draumrvollr. Bjarkan-Kind settlements are usually closely associated with those of the Lae-Daudr and are surrounded by excellent farms.
The Bjarkan-Kind Clan was begun by a Mage called Vidür who had a particular passion for the trees of Glimé. They brought together like-minded wargs who appreciated nature and formed Bjarkan-Kind. The story goes that Vidür, though happy in Ljosa, felt there was something missing. Travels through the forests and jungles of Alfheim had done nothing but ignite their search. Their closest friend (and rumoured to soon be more than friend) Eldur of Clan Eldi-Stokkir accompanied Vidür on their quest for a new home, separate from the tiring trifles of the other clans. Vidür quickly fell in love with the silverleaf trees that they had passed in Draumrvollr, but Eldur was not content. He loved the red fireleaf trees they passed in Varkellr. The two bickered all the way back to the Sapling and by the time they had got there both were so furious with each other they refused to speak to one another again. Aodh, Vidür’s sister and Senwarg who had never liked Eldur anyway, convinced Vidür that their decision was the right one and the Clan made their home in the silverleaf tree they called Draum in the forest of Draumrvollr. Aodh disappeared in 192A whilst out on a scouting mission and Vidür, heartbroken by their sister’s loss, had a wall built around their city and people to protect them. Vidür was killed in a skirmish on the Southern sea borders in 267A on their way to see Eldur for the first time in over a century.

Clan Culture & Values
Beauty is a reflection of the gods and their wisdom, it is the goal.
The Wargs of the Bjarkan-Kind Clan all carry a talisman with Three Circles. The three circles are symbolic of Fenrir, Jord and the wargs of their creation. The Bjarkan-Kind are incredibly aware of their duty to the gods to be reflections of their image and attempt to make themselves worthy of that image as a central part of that being. Bjarkan-Kind tend not to intermarry with other clans, instead keeping marriages within their own. Bjarkan-Kind often tend to find themselves in careers related to maintaining the beauty of living or inanimate things.
- Beauty: Beautiful things are always worthy of attention, whether those things be made by a warg’s paw, or bestowed by the grace of Jord.
- Balance: All things should be in equal balance. One should not give priority over certain things to another.
- Structure: The clan is most powerful when it adheres to a structure that is easily identified and aligned.
- Purity: A warg should not sully something pure and beautiful. Purity is to be respected.

Clan Politics
Eik-Saer Clan
Status: Enemies
While often historically at odds, this animosity came to a head with Nekelloth’s overthrow of their Highwarg Njárlssa. The clan is one not to be trusted and their high and mighty attitude is one that is fundamentally at odds with the Bjarkan-kind way of life.
Forra-Yr Clan
Status: Enemies
Bjarkan-Kind views the wargs of Forra-Yr in contempt. Though they might once have been the mightiest of all the clans under Havardr, they have since fallen so incredibly low and are now considered lackeys to the Eik-Saer.
Myrkr-Auga Clan
Status: Allies
The Bjarkan-Kind consider the Myrkr-Auga to be particularly mystical and worthy of respect. While the general populace might not know much about the Keepers, the entire clan recognises that they can rely on the Myrkr-Auga to do so.
Lae-Daudr Clan
Status: Allies
The ties that bind the Lae-Daudr to the Bjarkan-kind are strong and often familial. While marriage outside the clan is never encouraged, if a warg where to find a mate that was not of Bjarkan-kind, there is no better choice than Lae-Daudr.
Eldi-Stokkir Clan
Status: Neutral-ally
Bonded in location and almost a symbiotic relationship, the Eldi-Stokkir are a necessary part of the life of many Bjarkan-Kind settlements. While not too friendly, the Bjarkan-Kind will unite with Eldi-Stokkir when necessary.
Auona-Modr Clan
Status: Neutral
The Auona-Modr are considered an extremely odd and quite off-putting clan of wargs best to be avoided unless dealings are absolutely necessary.

Clan Festivals & Events
Initiation
To join the Bjarkan-Kind a Warg must bring back a piece of bark from a silver tree with no leaves. Groves of these silver trees are kept and planted across Alfheim by Bjarkan-Kind travellers. The silver trees are considered beautiful and were the original draw of Vidür to the city they called their capital.
Ascension
In the ceremony for the Senwarg, the chosen one will make themselves a crown of silver leaves and commit themselves to their clan. In the ceremony for the Highwarg, similarly the chosen one will make a cloak of Silver leaves. These cloaks and crowns have historically been kept in the main hall of Draum for memorandum. After the ceremony, Bjarkan-Kind wargs hold a great feast with dancing and frivolity.
Festival of Leaves
The Festival of Leaves is an important day for young, single wargs to flirt and abscond. The leadup to the festival sees wargs make decadent and intricate masks from different leaves and paints, whereupon the night of the festival they wear their masks, hiding their identities and dance, drink and abscond as they please. Bjarkan-Kind were very protective of this festival, only holding it in the city of Draum once a year in Summer. Since the Cataclysm, the Bjarkan-Kind have made do with holding the Festival of Leaves in their clan hall and have been cautious to let no warg from another clan know of its existence.
